To the administrators of this web site: The links provided for registering the class action are of a different law firm that has been used by many other folks already. Currently, the law firm I am aware of that has been taking complaints is  Green-Welling ,the same firm that has been settling for the same issues of the zd7000 series. It would make more sense to me to use a firm that has already been aware of the issue , just adding the new model zd8000 as the issues are identical. If we are going to use class action, we should consider maybe Green-Welling? I have also started this as a forum post simply becasue it seems no one appears to be using the forum at this moment where this comment should be. Maybe if you allow this to start under "stories", we can get the fourm moving. Also what about Canadian folks and Class Action?

I attempted to contact Green-Welling some time ago and haven't received any response from them. Their website states that they respond to all inquiries, but I have yet to receive a response of any kind. Sorry, I cannot recommend a firm that does not even return messages. I will continue to refer to Shepherd, Finkelman, Miller & Shah unless something changes.

I finally received a reply from Green-Welling. Aside from a bravo for the website, they had little promising to say. They are not presently pursuing a class action suit against HP. They mentioned that the passage of time will be a big issue and it is important to do something before too much time passes.
