Vertical lines on HPzd8000 |

I brought my HP zd8000 in 2005 with an extended 3 year warranty. About 9-10 months ago coloured vertical lines started appearing on the left hand side of the screen right and I've lost nearly 60mm of the screen. This is includes the start menu which is very annoying. The warranty had expired only 3 or so months prior to this happening. I have also been experiencing slow start ups & over heating, Considering this it cost nearly $3000 NZ, I'm a little angry about it. I use this laptop about once or twice a wek for a bout 1 - 2 hours and it has been very well looked after.
