Well... 3 months ago, I had 1/3 of my screen (left side) covered with black, like dead screen or something, then I put it on a local repairer, after 3 weeks I had computer back, with no failures at all, cost me 80€.
The computer has been bought at march, 2005, and at the summer it has overheating problems, but I solved it by removing battery and getting a cooler for laptop.
It hasn't gave more problems until now... that black screen, and last month, suddenly a red line appeared in my screen... I looked for help on web and now I know that these laptops give lots of problems, and HP don't care about it. In a top of the line computer which worth 1500€!!! 4 years ago...
Today, minutes before I found this website, a 2nd line has came, with green. I can handle it, but it's 2 mm to the left of the red one and I'm really afraid that there are more to come...
I'm getting money for a new computer at the moment, if I don't get it, I think I'll have to buy just a new LCD screen...
