My wife bought a zd8000 for her small business a little over a year ago. She spent a lot of money on it. We have had nothing but problems with it. It keeps shutting off. We tried everything. We've contacted HP before and they told us during the warrenty period that nothing was wrong, change the bios, etc...

It is clear that it is a design problem that has to do with putting too big of a processor in a computer with inadequate cooling. HP has never attempted to make this right. We not run without batteries, on a cooling pad that does not do the job. We know it is a cooling problem because it's winter here and if we place the laptop on the floor next to a drafty exterior facing door it will run for days. When running in a room temperature environment, it will practically burn your hands just to type on it.

We want HP to make it right.
