I developed the vertical line problem in August 06, one month after my warranty ended. I called HP Tech and they said it was a simple problem with my settings and then told me I needed to get it to a service center and pay out of my own pocket if the things they told me didn't work, which was obviously the case. At this point there is little of my monitor that I can see. The thin vertical lines that filled my screen continued to get worse until large white bands filled with multiple colors started taking out 2.5" sections of my screen. I have to have an external monitor hooked up to use it. Please inform me if there is a needed recall or if there is a class action. Write Comment (0 comments) |
