I brought my laptop a year ago. I could see vertical flickering lines sometimes during booting but now I see a vertical line on the screen continously. I have contacted customer care but they say that my product is not supported.

Bought it years ago. Still a good laptop, except for the screen of course. First one line, then two...years later, too many to count. Of course it was more to repair than to get a new laptop. I used an external monitor for awhile. I recently had to fork out another grand+ for a new laptop. I would probably still be using the zd8000 if it wasn't for the vertical lines. I want to sell it, but nobody will buy it will all the lines. I wouldn't make a profit if I repaired it and then sold it. Of course I had problems with the battery too, but that's another story. So it sits in a laptop bag in my office.

Bought a professional machine 3 years back. Less than a year later I had one fine vertical line on my screen. Then there came more; and more; like every week one. Today, I must have some 50 or more; I still manage to read, but that doesn't mean it's not a shame.
