This is a post that I copied here too because HP keeps deleting mine from their IT Resource Center Forums. I'll continue to do so. They have deleted 5 or so of my posts. They were not vulgar in any way and were quite similar to this one. They have a very bad lemon of a product and I want everyone to know it. I went through the ZD7000 lawsuit that occurred last year and they were forced to fix these. However, it then became the ZD7000a and two months later began to have the same problems with the graphics system. Lines, lines, and more lines. Basically they didn't fix a thing. I've been hung up on by customer support when I specifically asked if this fix was going to cost me anything. I was not rude at all and was very professional throughout the whole ordeal. However, I am now mad and will certainly tell many people to run from HP due to their lack of caring about their customers as well as their products. I have been posting there for a bit and they keep deleting them. I asked them if the truth hurts and obviously it does. A million disgruntled customers will mean three million potential customers will be saved. So, everyone do their part and broadcast the trouble when dealing with hp.
Well HP, you were considerably quicker deleting my posts this time than you were last weekend. I guess the truth does hurt... huh! Oh well. You still have a crappy laptop product and many many people know it. With the advent of the many other websites detailing these problems, the hp name is becoming nothing but mud. Was it worth it? All you had to do was admit that the ZD7000 and subsequent models were lemons and offer to stand by your products. But, you didn't and now you have so many people that will certainly never purchase hp ever again. Plus, you do not seem to consider that disgruntled customers speak with many other folks that do take the time to listen. As a matter of fact, at a very large electronics store, a customer was speaking with me about the new hp G and HPX series'. I explained my troubles with hp in general and why I was no longer a customer. He said that I wasn't the only one that he has heard this from and thanked me profusely as he walked away from the hp section. From what he said, it is obvious that many others are talking about this specific lemon problem too. Like they say, word of mouth is the best salesman. I'm posting at hpverticalline.com too. This should stay up for at least 24 hours but, it is certain to be deleted quick. They are getting faster at it.

My ZD8000 has served me well for 2 years, until i started having problems with my power supply. It quit working on me, so I paid around 100 bucks to replace it. The battery won't charge. The laptop runs fine on AC but unplug it and it's like there's not even a battery in it. I know the battery is good, but the new HP factory power supply will not charge it. I'm wondering if there's something wrong with the DC jack in the computer?
Also, I'm starting to get vertical lines on the display. First it was a single pink line, now there's a pink line and a green line. WTF is up with that? I've seen LCDs get stuck pixels before, but entire lines?
